Sharon Saxelby began her career in sales and marketing for a Fortune 500 company and transitioned to fundraising for Loyola University Chicago's medical and law schools. Over the past 20 years, Sharon has served in regional and national nonprofit management roles for the Alzheimer’s Association and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and led several international humanitarian organizations.
Sharon’s earned her MBA in Global Management in Geneva, Switzerland. She values and continues to develop cultural sensitivity and openness to diversity through working, learning and living in other countries. She is currently the director of development for Milwaukee Jewish Day School, the only pluralistic Jewish Day School in Milwaukee. MJDS offers students excellence grounded in the Jewish values of Wonder, Empathy and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world).
