DOMINGO MATEO PABLO TOMAS

As secretary, Domingo is responsible to schedule board meetings, record minutes, and vote on board decisions. He is responsible for managing a village school garden program funded by Adopt-a-Village in Guatemala.
Born January 6, 1985, he lives in San Carlos, a Q’anjob’al agricultural community of approximately 40 families which is located nearby the Maya Jaguar campus.
Domingo served as a teacher for four years at Maya Jaguar during which time he earned his teaching degree at the Panamerican University, where he graduated in 2014. His teaching career led him to his current position as director of the Nuevo Progreso Primary School. He is an accomplished artist and an experienced organic gardener. He is married with a three- year-old daughter.
